From packed trains to open horizons — Connecting the city to the sea

In collaboration with Ella Dahlström

The overcrowded public transport in Barcelona makes everyday life dull and stressful. Even a simple trip to the beach becomes exhausting - packed, overheated trains and long walks to reach the coast.

It is nearly impossible to bring a bike, surfboard, or any outdoor equipment without a car.

This project reimagines a public shuttle bus as a calm, sustainable alternative to the overcrowded train system. Designed to support an active lifestyle, the vehicle allows locals to easily bring outdoor equipment, while offering a relaxed indoor–outdoor atmosphere that connects the city with nature.
